Third National Thoracic Surgery - Activity & Outcomes Report (2018)
Dendrite Clinical Systems and the Society for Cardiothoracic surgery (SCTS) published the third iteration of National Thoracic Surgery - Activity & Outcomes Report that demonstrates importance collecting and analysing data from thoracic surgery.
New Zealand Cardiac Surgery National Report - 2015
The 1st New Zealand has been complied for the period 1 January to 31 December 2015 and includes all public funded cardiac surgical procedures performed nationally. The two standard operations included are coronary bypass grafting and aortic valve replacement these account for over 65% of the workload of all cardiac surgical units.

Maintaining patient' trust: modern medical professionalism 2011
This report demonstrates how collecting and benchmarking clinical outcome data has helped to reduce mortality rates for cardiac surgery by 50 per cent. The publication examines the impact of publishing information about outcomes by hospital and by individual surgeon; and explores the implications of understandings medical professionalism and patient centred care.
4th European Adult Cardiac Surgical Database Report 2010
This EACTS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database Report is an analysis of over one million patients records, from 29 countries, and 366 hospitals, in Europe and China (including Hong Kong). The report includes analyses of patient characteristics, the type of surgery, operative risk factors and post-operative outcomes, including in-hospital mortality and length-of-stay.
6th National Adult Cardiac Surgical Database Report 2008
